Refund policy

Changing your mind
If you buy online as a consumer, you can cancel all or part of your order without giving a reason. Tell us within 14 days after the day you or your nominated recipient receives the goods. If one order is delivered in separate parts, the cancellation period generally runs from receipt of the last part. You may also cancel before dispatch.
After telling us you wish to cancel, send the goods back within a further 14 days. Email simon@gripandgreen.com, telephone 07530 827216 or write to the address below. Include your name, order number if available and the items you wish to return. Any clear statement of cancellation is sufficient; you do not need to use our optional form or obtain approval to exercise your statutory right.
Returning your items
Send returns to: Grip & Green, 46 Cormorant Drive, St Austell, Cornwall, PL25 3BA, United Kingdom. Please package items securely and retain proof of posting. You pay the direct cost of returning unwanted goods. We cover reasonable return costs where goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the contract; contact us so we can arrange a suitable return method.
You may inspect and try items as you reasonably would in a shop. We may reduce a change-of-mind refund for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning. Original packaging and tags help, but their absence does not automatically remove your statutory cancellation rights. There is no restocking fee.
Refunds
We refund the price paid for cancelled goods. If you cancel the whole order, we also refund the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option offered for that order. Any extra paid for a premium delivery service is not normally refundable for a change-of-mind cancellation. For a partial return, delivery charges are refunded where legally required.
We will make a statutory cancellation refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or you provide evidence of sending them back, whichever is earlier. If goods have not been dispatched, we refund within 14 days of cancellation. We refund by the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, with no refund fee. Your bank may take additional time to display the credit.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Under UK consumer law, you normally have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery. After that, repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or refund may be available. These rights can continue beyond the change-of-mind period.
Please report problems promptly so we can help. We may ask for a description, photographs where practical and reasonable proof of purchase; this does not make those photographs a condition of your legal rights. Contacting us later, opening packaging or buying a sale item does not by itself remove your rights.
Exchanges and gifts
Size and colour exchanges, including gloves, are available subject to stock. Contact us within the change-of-mind period to arrange one. For an unwanted-item exchange, you pay return postage; we will confirm any replacement delivery charge and price difference before proceeding. You can instead use your cancellation right for a refund.
Gift recipients may contact us to request an exchange with reasonable proof of the order. Refunds are made to the original purchaser’s payment method. Please contact us if you need help identifying a gift order.
Gift notes and boxes
A handwritten gift note does not make the standard products in your order non-returnable. Choosing standard colours, sizes or the standard contents of a build-your-own box does not by itself remove cancellation rights. Please return all supplied contents when cancelling a whole gift box. Contact us about an individual faulty item within a box so we can arrange the appropriate remedy.
Business and partner purchases
The statutory cooling-off rights above apply to consumer purchases. For genuine business purchases, any separately agreed written quotation or business terms will govern voluntary cancellations and returns, subject to applicable law. For corporate hampers ordered through Grip & Green and dispatched by The Cornish Company, contact Grip & Green about cancellations, delivery problems or faulty goods. The agreed written quotation will set out the applicable business order arrangements.
This policy applies to orders placed from 21 October 2026. It does not reduce any more favourable contractual return rights already given for an earlier order. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.
